Wong Kian Ping was born in Singapore in 1932.
Education
1958 - Certificate in Education Teachers Training College, Singapore
1961 - Diploma in Western Painting, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
1962-1963 - Studied Chinese painting under the late Dr. Chen Wen Hsi
1975 - Certificate in Ceramic Glazes and Decoration Government Industrial Research Institute, Nagoya, Japan
Career
1963-1970 - Art Lecturer, Teachers Training College, Singapore
1970-1994 - Specialist Art Inspector, Ministry of Education, Singapore
Current - Part time lecturer, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
Exhibitions
Since 1959, Participated in all the major art exhibitions in Singapore and overseas and actively involved in organizing art activities for art societies.
