BIOGRAPHY
Ho Ho Ying, born in 1936.
Education
1962 - Graduated from Nanyang University, Singapore in Chinese Language and Literature.
Career
- Founded the Modern Art Society, Singapore, 1964 with 6 other artists and the Federation of Art Societies (Singapore) with Leaders of the various Art Societies, 1992 and established the FASS Chengdu Art Studio, China, 2003. Specializes in Painting and Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy.
Exhibition
- 7 solo exhibitions in Singapore and China and participated in invitational group shows locally and overseas.
Group Exhibition
1956 - First time participated in Singapore Art Society Annual exhibition.
1960 - Completed two mural pintings “ the live of student” and “The happy land” in Arts building, Nanyang University.
1963 - Participated in the joint exhibitin of Modern Art in Singapore.
1963 - Participated in the International Youth Art Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.
1964 - Participated in the joint exhibitin of Modern Art in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

何和应简历
何和应，笔名子木，生于1936年1月23日，原籍海南省文昌县人。
教育
1962- 南洋大学中文系毕业。
1996-1997 - 杭州，中国美术学院史论系进修。
事业
- 他是现代艺术开拓者（刘抗评语）、现代名画家、美术评论家、短篇小说家。他的文艺作品以子木笔名，散文多以甲丁、且乙为笔名。1941年移居马来西亚吉隆坡。1951年移迁新加坡，现为新加坡公民。
- 1964年至1995年期间，他在国家社区领袖学院担任高级讲师一职。
- 1958年至今，曾于新加坡《南洋商报》、《星洲日报》副刊，以及其他文艺或美术等刊物分别发表短篇小说、 美术论文、散文篇章；亦於1973年起出版《白天的月亮》短篇小说集，至2003年共出版了8部作品。
- 1963年联合黄明宗、黄奕全、陈贻懂、郑志道、董长英、吴仲达发起“第一届现代画展”，由名作家韩素音主持开幕典礼。1964年与上述问道倡立现代画会，历任现代画会会长达12年。
- 1984年至1995年，他担任新加坡艺术协会会长，共达12年。1991年至1995年，以及1998年，他担任新加坡美术总会会长。
- 他也获山东滕县滕王阁书画研究院礼聘为2000年滕王阁书画研究院名誉院长。而且，还被伦敦剑桥国际名人传记中心颁予“廿世纪卓越人物勋章”。
获奖
1975 - 马来多种艺术源流协会颁赐美术成就奖。
1979 - 现代画会颁发现代艺术贡献奖。
2000 - 新加坡美术总会颁发“卡龙古尼艺术”（废物艺术）金奖；中国山东腾王阁杯全国书画大展“特别金奖”；20世纪卓越人物勋章，英国剑桥国际名人传记；20/21世纪500具有影响力领袖（艺术家与作家），美国国际名人传记学院；21世纪卓越演讲家"捶"勋章，美国国际名人传记学院。

美术运动
1964 - 现代美术。与其他6位美术同道创立现代画会。
1995 - 创意书法。与13位新加坡书法家推动创意书法，突破书法的传统格式。
1998 - 卡龙古尼艺术（废物艺术）。与18位美术同道发动首届废物艺术展。
2001 - 指示21世纪美术发展方向，发动“走进21世纪美术大展”。
2003 - 创立新加坡美术总会“成都美术工作室”。
