"Hanlin Woodcarving Exhibitions" By Tan Swie Hian, 2011 "Just like Master Yong Cheong Thye, Master Cheh Kai Hon is one of the few artists that master the skills of Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Wood Carving. He is a notch above others, artistically manipulating two different yet complementing tools of art, creating the world of carving and calligraphy. The emphasis of his creations can be seen through the conscientious effort of interlacing the brush strokes, strength applied and the deliberate arrangements of Chinese characters.
