INTRODUCTION
Founded in September 2008 by Swee Boon Kuik, T.H.E Dance Company is a non-profit company.
At T.H.E Dance Company, the focus and inspiration for its creative process is humanity. It is a concern that runs through the core of the company’s works and management. The company is committed to creating works that probe, question, reflect and challenge.
Besides creating and building its own identity, they also recognize the need for outreach and education. T.H.E Youth is its very own youth dance company for young, talented dancers aged 18 to 25. Other initiatives by them to broaden our dance network include providing dance education and outreach programmes for schools and communities. This ensures constant contact between the company and the public, and increases the appreciation of dance as a valuable art form.
